Hachis parmentier (French shepard’s pie)

The hachis parmentier is a classic French recipe. Kids love it because it is tasty and easy to eat! Parents love it because it is tasty and easy to make! It is also a good to use your mashed potatoes if you have done too much!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes for the potatoes and 30 minutes for the hachis
Difficulty: Very easy
Ingredients (for 2 person):
- 300 gr of potatoes
- 20 cl of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- -200 gr of minced beed
- 50 gr of grated cheese
- Salt, pepper

Peel the potatoes and cook them into hot water for around 35 minutes. Then dry them, mash them and mix them with the milk, the egg and the butter.

Put half of the mash potatoes in a tin. Then cover with the minced beef. Season with salt and pepper.

Cover the minced beef with the rest of the mash potatoes. Sparkle with the grated cheese.

Cook in the oven for around 30 minutes at thermostat 200 degrees, until the grated cheese as a golden colour.

Tip: serve with green lettuce.
