Lasagna with Bolognese sauce and Béchamel

In the last recipes, we learned how to make Bolognese sauce and Béchamel sauce. Now we are going to use both recipes to make some yummy lasagna. Don’t worry, if you have already made the Bolognese sauce and the béchamel, you did the hardest! Now you just have to put them together with lasagna pasta!

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Difficulty: Very Easy
Ingredients (for 2 person):
- Bolognese sauce
- Béchamel sauce
- Around 10 slices of lasagna pasta
- Grated cheese (Emmental, gruyère or cheddar)

In a pie plate, pour half of the Bolognese sauce. Then cover the sauce with slices of lasagna pasta.
Add on top of the pasta half of the béchamel sauce. Then cover again with slices of lasagna pasta.
Pour the rest of the Bolognese sauce on the pasta, and cover once again with lasagna pasta.
Add the rest of the béchamel, and sparkle on top of it some grated cheese.

Your dish is ready to go to the oven! Cook it in thermostat 180 degrees for around 45 minutes, until the grated cheese take on a golden color!

Tip: you can add some grated parmiggiano between each stage of sauce to give to your lasagna a more cheesy taste.

Pasta with carbonara sauce

I know, this is another Italian recipe, but we really like it in France….and I am sure elsewhere too!! This recipe is originate from the beautiful city of Rome, and it’s perfect to bring some Italian’s sunshine during cold weather.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients (for 2 person):
- 200 gr of spaghetti
- 15 cl of double cream
- 160 gr of bacon dices
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- Salt, pepper

Cook the spaghetti into a pan of hot water for around 7 minutes, until they are “al dente”.
In the meantime, prepare the carbonara sauce: fry the bacon the dices in a pan. Then add the cream and the mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Add a tablespoon of the pasta cooking water and gently cook until the sauce thickens.

When the spaghetti are ready, drain them and put them into a plate. Cover with the carbonara sauce. Buon apetito!

Tip: you can eat the carbonara pasta “Bianca” (like in this recipe) or with a fresh egg yolk that you had to the sauce when you serve the dish. You can also sparkle a bite of Parmigiano o Pecorino Romano.

Spaghetti with seafood

My daughter doesn’t like much seafood, but she loves this recipe! It is the most simple and tasty seafood recipedirectly imported for you from South of France! I hope that you will enjoy it!

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients (for 2 people):

- 200 gr of spaghetti

- 1500 gr of seafood mix

- 1 vegetable stock cube

- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- Salt, pepper

- 1 pinch of Provence aromatic herbs

Cook the spaghetti for 10 minutes in hot water. In the meantime, dilute the vegetable stock cube in a pan of hot water and cook the seafood into this broth for 5 minutes.

Strain the spaghetti and the seafood and them into a plate. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, aromatic herbs and pour the olive oil. It’s ready to eat!

Vermicelli soup

When it’s cold outside, there is nothing better than a nice soup to warm you up. This one will take you only a few minutes to cook, and you will love it! This is my daughter’s favourite!

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Cooking time: 4 minutes

Difficulty: Very Easy

Ingredients (for 2 person):

-          1 vegetable stock cube

-          2 handfuls of vermicelli

-          1 litre of water

Boil the water and dilute the stock cube in it. Add the vermicelli and cook for 3-4 minutes.

It’s already ready!!
